Sign Me Up

In one of my classes, there is a boy named Austin.  He's deaf, so there are interpreters that come to every class and sign what the teacher says.  Sometimes I can tell that he gets bored, and today was one of those days, He kept watching the signer, however, as our teacher said: "And the purpose of a simile is to compare using 'like' or 'as', blah, blah, blah." Well, the signer signed exactly what what she heard: ".......blah, blah, blah." I watched Austin as he quickly mouthed and signed something along the lines of, "That's so rude!" to the signer.  She quickly replied, "No, no, that's what she said!"  Ah, sign language is great.
