Guest Blogger: Ben-a-min!

So, I couldn't think of anything that I particularly wanted to blog about today, so I asked little brother if he would be so kind.  And he said yes.  So here's Ben.

Hi, I'm ben and I'm definitely the most important thing that has ever happened to her. the next important thing will be her husband but since she decided not to get married and go on a mission she's stuck with me. Who she loves... I'm pretty sure. So yeah.

Well my absolute most favoritist moment with Katherine was probably 10 years ago. I was about 7 and I am an avid dreamer. In my sleep. And I slept talked, and walked and sang and would actually reply to people who talked to me in my sleep. If I know you you can try it some day. If I don't know you back up creeper and stay away, NO you can't watch me sleep.

So back to the story: I was dreaming this one time that i walked across the hall and climbed into my sister's bed. She got angry at me and sent me back to my room in her morning voice which sounds about fourteen percent better than the Grudge. So i did.

After waking up the next morning, I learned a very important fact. I  had not dreamed this episode, but in fact had really experienced it. She said if I ever shared this story she'd kill me so now I'm deaddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd.

Love ya sis.

Love ya too little bro.  :]

Bugged Again

Last night my family went to Lake Las Vegas to take family pictures, and I kid you not, I was bit by no fewer than three bugs.

At Lake Las Vegas. Where there aren't any bugs.  Supposedly.

WHY????!

(Someone please find a cure for malaria quickly.)

Also, thank you very little to the DMV who caught me blinking in my driver's license picture and decided to keep it anyway.  Ay yi yi.

I actually think it's funny.  Very unflattering, but funny nonetheless.

And one more thing.  Four more days!!!!
I'm excited.

Put Your Best Shoe Forward

Well, I did it.  I bought the classic sister missionary shoes.
(Don't judge me please; I'm already doing that enough for myself.)

Even after saying that I would never do it, I was left with no other choice.

And here's why.

I have to wear these things called orthotics, little plastic inserts that go in my shoes to re-shape my feet.  They're great for eliminating all the feet/leg pain, and for aligning my feet, and they do their job really well, but the only problem is that they're not so little and so they absolutely will not fit into any cute shoes.

Trust me, I tried.  For hours, I tried.

So finally, I gave in.
(sigh)

On the bright side, I don't think I'd mind terribly if a dog was chasing me and decided to bite at my feet.

Bugged

I don't know how, but the one mosquito in Provo found my arm and tried to bite it off.  Then I woke up and boom! my arm had exploded...kind of.

I have a feeling that Washington D.C. could be a very explosive experience.
