Discovery

For a while now I've been listening to people talk about Google Calendar.

They say they can't live without it.

Now I know why.

My life is organized!!!

They should have a post mission/life prep class here at BYU where they let us in on all of these secrets.  Google Calendar is definitely the next best thing after a missionary daily planner.

A Girl's Apartment

You know you live in a girl's apartment when...

...this is in your bathroom...

...and kitchen...

...and living room.

I promise we're not obsessed.  We've just had three engaged roommates, and haven't gotten around to throwing all of these magazines away yet (cough, cough).

Achoo

I have been doing two things all morning:

sneezing

and

statistics.

I think I'm allergic.

Purple Pencil

I think I have a lucky pencil.

My finals have been going fantastically and it all happened when I started using this:

Before I took my first final on Saturday, I realized that all three of my pencils had run out of lead.  So I replaced them with the wonder of wonders shown above, and another pencil who has yet to show it's potential.  Best choice ever.

Out of my seven classes, I (only) had six finals.  One was a take-home, and the rest were in the testing center.  Sounds overwhelming, right?  Well, today is Day Two of finals week and I have only one test left.  That means I've taken five finals.

And...the best part is, I've gotten A's on all of my finals!!!  (So far.)
(Disclaimer: I'm not bragging.  This is for posterity's sake so that I'm allowed to have high expectations for my children.  :])

Yep. I'm pretty sure I have a lucky pencil.  And it's purple ta-boot!

Actually, the real story is, I'm going on a mission and I'm being extremely blessed for it.

I think I'll go on a mission after every semester.

Craziness

I know that I've been bad at blogging lately, and that I'm cheating by just changing the dates on the past couple entries, but here's why:

And this is just papers and tests.  I have a separate calendar for readings.

17 credits is a choice I'm never making again.

Statistics

Well, I'm back.  Back in school and back to blogging.

Before I write any more about school, let me record that I have made a goal to blog once a week.  The initial reason I started a blog was to keep the family updated and I need to do better with that.  Also, blogging may be a very legitimate excuse to procrastinate homework.

So to continue where I left off,
I'm in three classes for my major (human development), plus a mission prep class, and finally, statistics.

Normally I love to take notes and pay attention and be a good student,

but...

statistics.

Just statistics.

I struggle with it.

School Spirit

In my 1 o'clock Doctrine and Covenants class, we always start with a prayer.  Today the person praying said, "...And we thank thee that BYU won the basketball game today and pray that they will have the strength to win their next game..."

Did I say Amen?

You better believe it.  :]
